Taylor Bortner is an animator/artist. He is known mainly for his only two succesful cartoons, "Fishsticks!" and "A Tribute to Jordan". He's also a musician and plays guitar and bass guitar.

Taylor Bortner made a lot of cartoons back in 2004. It was the first year he started using flash and the year that he discovered Newgrounds. He made a lot of tests but was still learning the basics.

In the beginning of 2005, Taylor spent a lot of time on a computer that had no internet connection. He made several flash cartoons in this year, some of which are on Newgrounds, however they were submitted under alternate accounts.
In later 2005, Taylor saw a cartoon that would change his life. It was a cartoon called "Pallid Fingers" by Rtil. He found the flash really funny and watched it a lot.
In a strange coincidence, Rtil ended up leaving a review for one of Taylor's projects called "Grehainy" . Rtil said that he liked the cartoon a lot, which made Taylor IM him on his aim.
Talking to Rtil and becoming friends with him in 2005 made Taylor start changing his views on Newgrounds.

2006 was a very important year in the history of Taylor Bortner. His friendship with Rtil and talking to him started having more and more effect on his personality and cartoons.
In this year, Taylor made a bunch of cartoons. In the summer of 2006, Taylor made his first award winning and front page receiving cartoon, "Fishsticks!".
Perhaps the most important part of 2006, though, was the release of a "TooF" parody that Taylor made after seeing Rtil's parody. The parody got very good reception from SS members, and some of them invited him to join the SS, one of them being F00D and one being Rex-Co.
On August 3rd, 2006, Taylor got validated at the Star Syndicate boards. After being in the Star Syndicate for about a week, Taylor made the infamous "Taco Star Poker" dailytoon. That dailytoon is what gained Taylor recognition for his flash work and he was generally more accepted on the boards after that time.

2007 was a terrible year for Taylor's flash career. He basically stopped making anything more than spam flashes and shit. He made "A Tribute to Jordan", which got frontpage. A more landmark sort of event in 2007, though, was his new found friendship with Armon Pakdel, also known as HLG.
In May 2007, Taylor created an internet band with Armon called "Galature". They made like two songs and then renamed themselves "Farther Snake", and kept the name.
2007 was a great year for Farther Snake and other bands by Taylor and Armon. They finished a full length album entitled "Fun 'n' Games!!!!!!". They also started their second album, "There's Something Fishy About That Lake!" and created an environmental death metal band called Oil Spill, which released a full length album and an EP.
In later 2007, Taylor gave his account name and password from the Star Syndicate boards to Armon in an attempt to get himself kicked out, as he had asked admins to delete him and nobody did. This worked, however, and he has yet to try to get re-validated.

There hasn't been much farther snake stuff yet this year, and not many flashes since this year.

Taylor has some skill at animation and drawing, yet still could use improvement. Taylor has also read all of Richard William's "The Animator Survival Kit".

Playing guitar and writing music are one of the things that Taylor is good at.
