Talk:Animation
From Anipedia
this article should be changed as it refers to Flash animation rather than animation as a whole. It uses non encyclopedic terms and describes the method of "tweeening" as lazy. this of course further shows the articles inclination towards Flash animation rather than refering to the traditional form of animation in which tweening is the process used in pose-to-pose animation to create the in-beteen frames between two key frames the head animator has designated. eg: A jumping animation has the key frames of the intiation of the jump, the climax of the jump and the landing. the in-between frames are filled in by "tweeners" who complete the animation sequence.
Either this article needs to be re-written entirely or re-named Flash animation or something similar.--Inkovic 10:07, 30 October 2007 (CDT)
The encyclopedia was originally going to be called flash wiki.

true, but still tweening should not be described as "lazy" animation. Rather it should be known as time saving tool which inexperienced animators use to create the illusion of animation with little effort--Inkovic 23:04, 17 November 2007 (CST)
