The Star Syndicate is a flash group on Newgrounds. They have produced hundreds of flashes, mostly consisting of controversial parodies, numerous pranks and the "Dailytoons" series, which ended after 4 seasons.

History
The Star Syndicate was founded on April 23, 2004 by leaders SevenStar and SixStar. The group's concept of having seven "Stars" as leaders is derived from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, as are the designated colors that each Star has. Shortly after the SS's birth, a FiveStar was selected from Seven and Six's group of real life friends. IamVincent2 was noticed after his successes with his "Chick Techno" series, and was chosen as the new FourStar. ThreeStar was selected shortly thereafter because of her status as a female. The other two Stars, Two and One, have had several people behind their names. The first TwoStar was the man known now most commonly as Jet Ninjin, but currently, CommunistLock holds this position. The current OneStar is also known as Duckshirt. Other numbered stars, such as ZeroStar and Eightstar, have existed, but they are not true Stars.
The summer of 2004 continued with submissions on a solo basis, but the SS made its collaboration debut with the SS Time Trial Team A and the SS Time Trial Team B. The success of these collabs was followed by the Alastor Collections and many other tongue-in-cheek Flash movies. In October 2004, ZeroStar and the rest of the Star Syndicate decided on making a series of daily cartoons; thus, DailyToons were born, the first of which being October 30, 2004's DailyToon.

A virus created by GoldenCat wreaked havoc as it spread across members of the Newgrounds BBS.

The Star Syndicate pulls off numerous pranks and has upset hundreds of Newgrounders and flash fans/artists alike.
Closures
The Star Syndicate has threatened to shut down multiple times.
Jonathan Ian Matthers
A day was organized by Tremour to fake the death of the creator of Foamy, Jonathan Ian Matthers, by flooding the portal with tribute flashes.
