Photoshop CS4 is the 11th version of Adobe's raster graphics editing software.

CS4 introduces many new features to the Photoshop line.
[edit] Canvas Rotation
New OpenGL enhancements allow the canvas to be rotated and worked on at any angle.
[edit] Dynamic Resize
Photoshop utilizes OpenGL to dynamically resize and move your canvas. Zoom levels apply anti-aliasing at non-uniform scaling for more accuracy. This is known as "seam carving".
[edit] 64-bit Edition
Photoshop is the first Adobe product to have a 64-bit edition. Users who have a 64-bit operating system will be able to allow Photoshop to use more than 4GB of RAM.

[edit] Known Issues
- Attempting to use the Text Tool in 64-bit edition causes Photoshop to crash. No known solution yet.
- "Enable OpenGL Drawing" is dimmed and not available. There are many solutions to this problem.
- Firstly, try getting the latest drivers for your video card. If your drivers are updated, try the next step.
- Get the latest version of Adobe Camera Raw. If this does not fix it, try the following registry fix.
- Adobe has released their own "do it yourself" fix for this that will allow you to enable the option even if Photoshop believes your graphics card is not supported. Follow the steps here: OpenGL and GPU not available in Photoshop CS4 (Windows XP 64-bit Edition).
