Daily Feature

Daily Feature is an award given to the highest scoring flash animation or game on Newgrounds within a 24 hour time span. Once alloted, it is displayed as an icon resembling a golden trophy on a submission's page.

In addition to an award for being in first place, there is also a line of four awards coming after it, adding up to a total of five. The other awards also have icons resembling trophies, and like the Daily Feature, have colors that go along with them. For example, a second place award has a silver color; third has a bronze, and so on.

Also, there is also another set of five for the best flash submissions of a week. The icons for these follow the same color schemes, but are bigger.

While these simply follow a submissions score, there are other weekly awards that are a bit different. A "Review Crew Pick" is based on a submission's review score, while an "Underdog" is given to the submisssion with the greatest difference between the two. (Example: A submission with a vote-based score of only 1.50 but a review score of 8.1 is very likley to get an Underdog.) Then, there is the "Turd of the Week" which works in reverse of a "Weekly User's Choice", being that it is given to the worst submission of the week.
