Anipedia:Guidelines
From Anipedia
- Don't bother writing an article if...
- You're going to write virtually nothing and do not plan to expand on it.
- You're only promoting yourself and not being encyclopedic.
- You're not taking it seriously.
- Before you write an article...
- Make sure you know how to make one.
- If you don't, go to the focus page, and learn how. Every resource you need is there.
- If you have questions or are stuck, search for answers here and elsewhere, or ask rtil, evilagram, Shida or a friend.
- While writing an article...
- Be encyclopedic.
- Check your facts.
- Do not personalize your writing. Speak in the 3rd person, do not be opinionated, and be neutral.
- Use proper grammar and spelling.
- Have fun.
- After writing an article...
- Do not let your article become outdated. When something new happens involving the subject of the article, update it.
- Add the page to your watchlist, to make sure it is properly maintained. Adding a page to your watchlist notifies you if it has been edited since your last visit.
